Preparing the next issue, do you want to collaborate?

On the occasion of the preparation of issue 8 of “Diàlegs”, we are making a call for contributions. While we debate whether to allow the use of ChatGPT in homework, the frontier is already elsewhere: AI tutors that adapt each lesson instantly, pioneering schools that concentrate instruction into a couple of hours a day and free up the rest for projects, agents that accompany primary school children, or systems that perceive a student’s discouragement before their teacher does. The question is no longer whether AI will enter the school, but what school will remain when it is everywhere. And here begins what is important. When the machine explains, corrects, personalizes and even consoles, what no machine can give is revealed: a look that recognizes, a question that awakens, a community where one can learn to be. AI does not come to replace the human being: it comes to rediscover them. Therefore, this issue is not about technology, it is about greatness: the opportunity to use the most profound epochal change of our generation to form freer, wiser, and more fully human people.
More human than ever
