PhD in Chemical Sciences and degree in Physical Sciences. Master’s Degree in Occupational Health, specialising in Industrial Hygiene. Lecturer in the Didactics of Mathematics at the Faculty of Education in Toledo (UCLM).
Her professional career focuses on the field of multilingual science education, especially focused on the perception of science of students and the general public (affective domain) in the area of STEM.
Since 2012, she has been involved in the science outreach project “Knowing science today opens the doors to tomorrow”, which she led in 2016, when she focused specifically on the gender perspective for the analysis of stereotypes. Currently, she collaborates with the popularisation of science with “Ciencia a la carta”, participates in the COMCIENCIA project, dedicated to investigating the ways in which science is communicated, and directs the project “Ciencia Creactiva: Científicas en la economía circular” (Creative Science: Women scientists in the circular economy).
